   FAQ
Is EDGE a fitness center where I can get a monthly membership?
No. EDGE is not a "normal" fitness center. Our staff works with each individual athlete and teaches the athlete how to become bigger, faster, and stronger. We do have monthly memberships but each athlete must sign up for a specific class. We do not allow open training. EDGE has classes available for all levels and genders.
Why can't I just workout at my school?
 
We encourage working out at your school. This helps build team unity. Most local schools do not have the space or resources that we have. At EDGE we have enough staff to evaluate and teach each athlete that trains with us. Most schools have state of the art weight rooms but do not have the speed, power and explosive equipment that help aid our athletes in getting bigger, faster and stronger. Weight training at Edge is only a small part of what we do. We have slide boards, resistance training, Russian jump boxes, etc...
Can you teach speed and power?
 
Yes. We believe at EDGE that every athlete can improve on his or her speed and power. We focus on techniques that sometimes trainers overlook. We also have the equipment that helps train those techniques. Each athlete will see results if they stay consistent and work hard.
What sport does EDGE focus on?
 
We train the "athlete". We focus on whatever sport the athlete wants. All sports require speed, power and explosiveness. Our staff has over 10 years of experience training all different types of athletes. Our wall of fame shows each of the athletes that our staff has worked with from all different sports. We have a basketball court, football field, two hockey-shooting stations and a batting cage as well as football field turf. All of our athletes can experience these resources at EDGE.
Do you have to be the best player on your team to train at EDGE?
No. Our staff wants to train all types of athletes. We want our athletes to achieve whatever goal they desire. We welcome anyone who wants to make a commitment and work hard.
Do you have to be in high school to train at EDGE?
NO. We train athletes from the ages of 7 years old to adults. Since weight training is only a small part of what we do, there is no age requirement. We have hundreds of exercises that help young athletes begin their sports development.
